NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Town of Lanark Comprehensive Plan (Future Land use Map) Amendment

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE the Town Board of the Town of Lanark, Portage County, Wisconsin, will be
holding a Public Hearing on a proposed amendment to its Comprehensive Plan on August 6
2026 at 7:00PM at the Town of Lanark Municipal Building, 7174 County Road TT, Amherst, WI.
A request has been made to amend the Town of Lanark Comprehensive Plan to change the
Future Land Use Map designation of .43 acres of parcel 022221007-10.02 from Natural Areas
Protected to L3 Limited Agriculture/Mixed Use.

This change in future land use designation will accompany a request to rezone the .43 acres
from Conservancy to A2 Agricultural Transition.

Documentation regarding the proposed amendment, including an environmental assessment
report and map changes, is availalable for review HERE

The Town of Lanark Plan Board will hold a meeting immediately following the Public Hearing, at
which time they may take action on the Comprehensive Plan amendment and rezoning.
